The period often referred to as the ancient Greece in Classical Antiquity has produced several noticeable talents who have thus become a landmark in history because of the prominent work performed by them. Famous leaders in ancient Greece:

Archimedes born in 287 BC, in Sicily, was a Greek mathematician, physicist and engineer along with being an astronomer as well as an inventor. Apart from his very famous Eureka, he also helped in determining the volume of an irregularly shaped object. Further, he was also able to successfully find out the accurate value of Pi.

Homer was a Greek epic poet who was famously known for his works like the Illiad and Odyssey. Alexander the Great was born in Pella Macedonia in the year 356BC. He was the son of an excellent Army General Philip Macedon and the Princess of Espirus, Olympians which made him undoubtedly one of the greatest military geniuses of all times.

He added new territories to his large empire by overthrowing the Achaemenid Persian Empire. The reason for Greek settlement followed by the subsequent cultural influences can be a result of his conquests. Alexander the Great died on June 11, 323BC when he was almost 33 years of age.

Socrates, again, was a Greek philosopher who was born in 496BC. A method has been devised by him as a result of whom a Socrates Method evolved also known as Elenchus. Pythagoras is very famous for his geometric theorem of Right angle. He was also responsible for Pythagoreans, which was a religious movement based on religious teaching, common meals, exercise, reading as well as studying of philosophy.
